Debuting Dream for the Land at The Society of Illustrators and our online shop

Heading to New York this week for this year’s Original Art Show at The Society of Illustrators with my daughter Sofia. I’m looking forward to seeing old friends and colleagues and the incredible work of talented artists in the 2025 show. I’m honored that my work on the children’s book, Dream for The Land, written by Laekan Zea Kemp will be included. Many thanks again to this year’s judges.

The Dream for The Land story features a girl and her father who wish for a brighter, greener future for the parched land around their home. The book was especially meaningful for me. First, because caring for our lands is critical. I see it firsthand living in Utah, where the Great Salt Lake’s decline poses significant risk. And second, the girl in the story looks a lot like Sofia did when she was a child. She was my inspiration for the character.
